Fancy Friday!

What a late start to our day! Hubby and I slept until 8:00 AM, dashed to our tennis game, grabbed a quick breakfast, and here I am. I just showered, but have laundry and some light cleaning to do, with myLot inbetween. 
It’s a fancy Friday for our younger son. He had his new chandelier installed by his electrician, who had to remove one of the overhead lights in the ceiling and create WiFi light switches. By the way, all lighting in his home has been replaced with energy efficient bulbs, including the chandelier.
Today is the third day our son is having every dead tree on his property removed. They will be working all next week to remove more, remove stubs, and clear out all vines, thorns, and poison ivy. Then they will grade and make a new and much larger front and side lawn.
For me, I have our usual Friday date night. I was told to dress up in a fancy dress. It’s a surprise restaurant!

Happy Friday! I probably won't get to do much myLotting today (I'm forcing myself to be away . . . I have sooooo much cleaning to do - and you just know I won't get it done if I'm here

Your sons chandelier is really pretty .. Have fun on your date night.. Its really great That you guys do this
And the surprise reasturant has to be exciting
I use to play tennis ..i miss that .. I may have to take up racquetball since i dont have a tennis partner..

I hope you have fun on your date tonight!
I have switched out every lightbulb in my house with energy-efficient LED bulbs. It really makes a big different in my electric bills!

My son is a perfectionist like his dad. He's had so many things done to his house since he's been there, that we joke and tell him that he should have built one from scratch. He's planning on putting in new windows and redoing each room, which in my opinion is beautiful as is. Oh, well.....
No way will I put up a photo. The camera adds 20 pounds!

@FayeHazel Thanks. He's taking his time and doing it well and correctly. I can't wait to see both the inside and outside of his house when we return.

That chair in the corner reminds me of how we were made to sit like that as a punishment. (lol)
I can well understand how excited your son is doing what he does. We did that when we shifted here.

Seems like a lot of people started late here today.
I hope all your laundry and cleaning is now done.

@Courtlynn Yes, I do, as a matter of fact. lol. I am planning on wearing a body hugging white dress. It is sleeveless and has a neckline that is wide and sits on my shoulder. There is a name for it, but I can't remember it right now. It's not a jewel neckline, but like a stiff cowlneck. It's very plain and simple, but so elegant. I hope my husband likes it and that it's not too dressy for wherever the heck we are going.

Many thanks! My husband surprised me by getting dinner reservations with a window table at a restaurant I've be dying to try for 6 years!!! We've only had lunch there and reservations are so hard to get. I was so happy!!!!
And my husband loved my new dress!

@DianneN smart cat! Has he gotten itchy from it? I know if the oils get on our pets fur and we pet them we can get a rash were the oil comes in contact with our skin. I’m always worried when I’m out in the woods with my dog that will happen to my kids if they pet my dog. So far no problems though.

It does show a reduction in energy. Our son's house is filled with ceiling lights such as those, and it was a smart decision to invest in replacing all those bulbs in every room in the house. Oh, yes! Thanks. The restaurant was one I always wanted to dine in.
