this afternoon i went out to pick up my oldest's vet food-he has a special diet due to being super elderly.. unfortunetly,on the way back i witnessed a lil girl get hit on the crosswalk by a speeding driver.with her mother right next to her.second person this year on the same crosswalk. he actually tried to flee,but everyone on the street blocked him. what a piece of crap. i don't know if she's gonna be ok or not. i hope they throw the book at him.

That is so sad. I hope the girl recovers and the driver is prosecuted. There is no excuse for this behavior.

's fer that fella that hit that babe? i 'gree 'n hope they do 's ya say. so glad that others t'were there to prevent his 'scape. i jest dunno what's wrong with folks? always drivin' distracted 't seems 'n payin' no mind to what'd be'n the roadway. i do hope that lil gal 'tis gonna be alright.

I am so glad that people stepped in to stop him from getting away. There have been so many hit and runs this past year or so. I am beginning to wonder if these people have any compassion and conscience. I hope the little girl is ok.
