Welcome, Jonathan, in formal terms, what @owlwings wrote is very good, pay attention.. I add: have fun, be polite in the debate, do not get angry when there is disagreement with what is being exposed, the discussion in real life and virtual should be done with respect and esteem towards the other. Without shouting, without insulting, without mistreating, without negatively qualifying.

Welcome to myLot. To begin with, you should read the Community Guidelines and the Earnings Program FAQs. You'll find both of those pages under "Help" in the menu under your username on the left. They will show you what you can and can't do here and how earnings and payments work. Earnings here are determined by how much other people like and interact with what you post, NOT by how many posts you make. The more that you interact with other people (for which they earn, not you), the more likely it is that other people will interact with you (so increasing your earnings). As long as you understand and follow the Guidelines, you will be fine! Don't expect myLot to make you rich, though! Most people don't find it too difficult to reach the minimum of $5 in a month. Quite a few manage to make a bit more than that but the most that the owner says he has paid out to anyone in a month is $45. The less you worry about the earnings and enjoy using the site, the more likely it is that you will earn. You can be assured that myLot is a very reputable site. It began nearly 13 years ago and has ALWAYS paid out exactly what was due, when it was due (and often before)!
