How Often Do You Lose Your Electricity?

I'm originally from Rhode Island, United States. And even though it was a relatively rural part of Rhode Island, I rarely lost my electricity while living there.
However, I've lived in Maine, United States for most of my life. And I lose my electricity over every little thing. And when I first moved to Maine, a lot of the locals around here warned me that we lose our electricity a lot.
How about you? Do you lose your electricity a lot where you live? Or are you more fortunate?

We rarely lose electricity. Although I know some people who live near by and they lose it quite a bit. Or at least it seems like it. We live right by a hospital and two seniors homes. So, if we lose power, it's usually not for long.

If there's a power outage, it's usually an outside maintenance issue on my block or a change of weather. It happened every once in awhile per year and usually comes back within few minutes. Sometimes a bit longer.

Update: We just lost electricity here for about two minutes, due to high wind speeds.

Not often at all, but when i first moved here it would be about every 10 days in the summer,,,with the storms. I finally called the electric company and complained. They did something to reinforce the lines, and since then it hasn't really been a problem.

The only time the electrical power goes out is during a severe thunderstorm which happens around once every three to four months.

Yes i do. happens like 2 or 3 times a month, for like 30 minutes, or a little more. It's totally annoying and authorities don't do anything to fix it. =/
