sample photo collage with 7 pairs of shoes

shoes collage
Philippines

after fellow mylotter @ladyduck recommended the site photocollage.com to @maluse, she shared her first collage with 6 black and white pictures from her childhood after world war 2. i tried using the site myself and here's the result - a collage of seven pairs of shoes. i downloaded those pictures from pixabay weeks ago when i was planning to write a post about shoes. how i did it: go to photocollage.com open the folder where i stored these photos drag these photos to the canvas (without any order, just piled them on one on top of the other) select Auto Collage ctrl + S to save i did this right on the photocollage website. other commands are located on the top left corner and below the canvas. on top of the screen, i noticed they have many other tools, namely: photo enlarger, photo editor, change faces word clouds, youtube trimmer, print screenshot toony tool, fake chat app, photo resizer online charts, glitter photo, poster maker diagram editor, files2zip, pdf converter i'll try to learn how to use those, too. thank you and happy birthday, lady anna!

@LadyDuck i'm on a pc, too. what i mean is the commands on this site use the keyboard. for example, if i put 5 pictures and noticed that 2 of them are actually the same so i want to delete the extra, i have to point to that picture with the mouse then press delete on the keyboard. in other sites i've used in the past, i just use the mouse for everything all throughout the site.

Thank you for sharing this info. It seems very easy from your perspective. Maluse explained it to me as well.

the canvas is already open when you go to the site so you just drag everything there and let it arrange the pictures for you. if you don't like the arrangement, then you can move, flip them around, enlarge, shrink, add or remove as you like. i know that the more i look at it, the more ideas i get on how i would reposition those shoes

@DianneN the original plan was to write a discussion of shoes i prefer so i browsed through pixabay picking those that i like/prefer to wear. then i picked one that i wouldn't wear for contrast - strappy sandals. i'm wary of being stepped on!

Some of those shoes look real comfy. I use another site for collages. Maybe i should try this one for the other tools that come with it.

those are the shoes i prefer to wear, not sandals, flipflops, heels. no bulky sneakers, either. i like that the canvas is already open when you go to this site. which site do you use?

@sofssu yeah, i tried the glitter photo, just for fun. it's like a gif where the designs are moving. ideal for young people or fun websites, if you don't mind getting distracted! hahaha!

@crazyhorseladycx i only get photos from sites that say they are free for commercial use. if you only want to use your own photo, then maybe it's better to use a program that's in on own your pc, too.

I should have a look to this site. I do my collages myself, but they are a bit primitive.

@hereandthere Thanks, they are done with a command line script and a 25 years old software, they are collages from a caveman.

That sounds like a lot of instructions. I have never been able to get the collage thing down, and I'm okay with that. I sent Anna a PM with her birthday wishes in it. I know that she and her husband will have a wonderful day today.

That's easy for those who only use the computer. That's pretty helpful. I have several collage app on my phone and when I do that it automatically saves into my computer without having to do anything.

7 pairs of shoes? Am I seeing 8? Ooops... Are sandals considered shoes? Whoaaa.. Got a lot of questions but never mind... Anyways, I am also fond of creating collage but I use an application on my cellphone to do that. It is also easy because I just choose the photos and it will create on for you then you can change the layout afterwards and do some editings and add some finishing touches... I might also try that...
