Hit and Run Unattended Vehicle - Seriously?

I was at work today - I am an Assistant Manager at a gas station/convenience store. My retirement job and it is a lot of fun. Well, a customer parked next to me - then when they left they were too busy talking on their phone to pay attention and they hit my car. Did they come in and tell me? Nope. They fled the scene. Fortunately another customer saw the incident and wrote down the license plate number. I filed a police report and now I get to deal with insurance. I sure hope they have insurance. And I hope they enjoy the misdemeanor charge they will get for hit and run unattended vehicle. It would have been so simple for the person to come inside and tell me what happened instead of just leaving. I am so appalled at how little respect people have for other people. Were they just raised wrong or what? Shaking my head.
