The Youngest Student to Teach Online..."OMG! I really can't?!?

I don't know how can I start this concern. It was really a mindblowing to teach a 19-month-old. OMG to the maximum level! It seems my company's staff are not thinking. How can you teach a baby that cannot say anything? So far, it is a record for the youngest student to teach online.
I am sorry to say that I really can't have the class with a baby. I am not a clown!

@florelway Your brother was right and he did the right thing. Some parents want to impose to their too young children their ideas, this is wrong.

Some parents can be unreasonable too, the kids may not need them, only them want it There was a time when a parent (father) ask my brother to teach his little kid to play the piano because my brother teaches piano but he does not teach very small children as he is not into the usual piano lesson, he is more on the practical side where his students can actually put into actual use what they learn. My brother refused and told them he does not think the child is interested and he could barely touch the keyboard with his small hands.

@LadyDuck I agree with you without taking into account the capacity of the child.

You said it right. I really cannot help it and call the baby's mom's attention about it. The worst part, the mother cannot speak the English language well. It needs to be translated by me in the Chinese language. The rudeness, she dropped the call without any words.

I agree that teaching should start at home. Technology and online services have their place, and there are some helpful apps and tools to help babies learn alongside being taught by parents. I don't think an online class is appropriate.
One of my children was actually able to speak very well by 19 months (and children can still comprehend even if they can't speak) but I don't think I would have put him on an online course designed for adults.

@Shavkat Well, if she can't speak English and wants her child to speak it then it's OK to ask a pro to help. I have a friend who actually does baby language lessons BUT they are designed for babies.

My little niece is like your child. She can speak well in English. My family and I decided to teach her this language. It really needs to start at home. The irritating part, the mother cannot even speak the language. Then, how can she teach the child? She needs to study the language instead of her child, right?

@pumpkinjam I am not sure if she will love baby language. Since she wanted to expect things that are impossible for her child. I hope she will her way what is really best for the child.

@LowRiderX I must admit that she cannot speak any English words, too. That's really a wrong move for her. The learning should always start with a mother.

Today some parents are crazy and they are afraid that their children will be behind other children. So they will try to attend different kinds of courses for their babies. I think these parents just feel released since their children already go ahead to attend to the courses but it is their wish only.

The strangest thing I have ever heard. How in the world do they think that baby is going to learn?

@Iknowit1990 I think it is okay if it is not a second language. For the first language, I think it is fine.
