The love of YHWH GOD is shown, expressed, manifested in all its splendor in the giving. Love and giving go hand in hand with YHVH GOD: For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life. ( John 3:16) The one who loves gives what he is and what he has, YHVH GOD gave, and continues to give, what is and what he has. God loved humanity so much, man, his creatures, that he decided to give the best of himself: his only begotten Son that is the maximum expression of the Love of YHVH GOD. The love that is not accompanied by the action of giving is a half love, or better yet, a love without foundation, a love that is null, a love that has no meaning, and it is a love that has no purpose. The love of God has a purpose, says the Biblical record quoted: "... so that all who believe in him may not be lost, but may have eternal life" For two things: so that man does not get lost, so that he may be saved, and so that man may have eternal life in the name of Jesus Christ. Why and for what did God give his Son? He did not give it to harm the fallen world in sin, to sinful humanity, but to do good to the people, to benefit them, to bless them. Later in this chapter of the Gospel of John it is said that God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world could be saved by him (John 3:17).
