If in general the rice is always white, but in my country there is yellow rice. Yes, this yellow color is indeed not a natural yellow that comes from special varieties of rice. However, the yellow color of rice is caused by the addition of turmeric extract when the rice is cooked. With the addition of turmeric extract, the color of the rice becomes fresher and tempting every taste that sees. This rice is usually made for certain celebrations such as birthdays, baby birth celebrations, traditional celebrations or other celebrations. The taste of yellow rice is very delicious, there is a savory taste in every grain of rice. Coconut milk, spices such as bay leaves, lemongrass leaves, galangal and cinnamon and salt make this rice even more special. I always eat lots of yellow rice when there are celebrations. It tastes delicious and makes me happy. Now yellow rice is not only found in traditional celebrations or other celebrations, but yellow rice can already be found in shops or stalls throughout Indonesia. Have you ever enjoyed Indonesian yellow rice?   Note: Images are taken from cookpad.com

As long as the yellowness comes from natural flavors, i dont mind eating it. But if it’s a food color, no way!

If I have the chance, I will try it. I think we do have like this, we just need to put some butter while frying the rice.

I have also tried this in one part of the Philippines. The place is called Batanes. It's good and I know it's healthy. But I still prefer white rice. Maybe I'm just not used to it.
