In Venezuela three species are considered natural emblems: El Turpial, the national bird, La Orquídea, the national flower, and El Guayacán Amarillo, better known as Araguaney, the National tree.
This beautiful native tree that reaches a height that oscillates between 6 to 12 meters and that has a straight and cylindrical trunk of about 60 cm in diameter was declared as National Tree of Venezuela on May 29, 1948 after decree of the then president Rómulo Gallegos .
The Araguaney belongs to the species, the scientific name Tabebuia is of Caribbean origin, the indigenous native Caribs of Venezuela gave it the name of "Golden Voice" as a tribute to its incomparable beauty.
With the arrival of the rainy season, the environment is favorable for this emblematic tree to bloom, I can say that the ones I show in my photographic collage are fresh because I photographed them today, they are new photos.
Do you know if in your country there are representative natural emblems of the national flora and fauna? If so, what is the national tree of your country?

Oak - is the holy tree of the Serbian people
And the oldest Serbian tree in Serbia is - Black mulberry, which is located in the port of Pec Patriarchate. According to the tradition, more than 750 years ago, he was planted by the parish archbishop of Sava II, after returning from Jerusalem, after passing through the Sham region.
