I Thought I saw an Angel

All I know is that it was a male and he had his sword drawn like the one in the photo. He did not say anything and it did not scare me.

You never know what can happen these days. Life is full of surprises. I did not know about all male angels.

@akalinus I guess there are no female angels...only males...that is biblical...

@akalinus It was a white bright figure, impossible to say if it was a male or a female. It was in the middle of the road, my husband stopped the car when we saw this "figure". We both went out of the car to check, we saw no one around. We went back to the car and continued our trip. A couple of miles after we stopped a horrible accidents just happened. If wed did not stop, we would have been in the accident.

@LadyDuck Wow! That was true intervention by God who sent angels to stop you.

That's awesome. Was it male or female? What was it doing?

I just closed my eyes and went back to sleep. But, I remembered it when I woke up. I imagine it was a crazy dream but don't know for sure.

@akalinus Usually a person can "sense" or "feel" someone or something else in the room with them. If you didn't get that feeling, I'm wondering if that meant it was a dream?

@moffittjc I knew something was there. Maybe that is why I woke up. I'm not really sure.

Why doesn't everyone see them all the time?

@akalinus They're supernatural for a reason. They're protecting us. You wouldn't want to see the forces of evil they battle to keep you safe. It's best this way.

I usually don't see things like that, imaginary or mysterious things. I know there is a paranormal but don't have a lot of experience with it.

@akalinus I have never seen angels,but believe in them.I believe in the paranormal either and have some scary and inexplicable experiences.

I wasn't scared. I just thought oh it's an angel and went back to sleep. Did you ever see anything like that?

@Nana49 This was not scary but kind of comforting. I am scared of the people roaming around the neighborhood at night. I live alone also. My son was here for a few years but he has moved on now.

@akalinus no i haven't. I would have. Got up lol wouldn't have been able to sleep.. Im.a big scaredy cat lol and i live alone. ..

@akalinus I know they are protecting us all of us I have felt it more than once. Someone else I know was pulled out of a tricky situation by the hand twice in his lifetime. He felt the hand and I believe him as he is very pragmatic and finds it hard to believe in that kind of thing.

@akalinus Goodness me that was a very close one too thank goodness they rescued you all. The person I know who was rescued as well was telling me that he heard the name Archangel Gabriel and its perhaps the only one he does believe in there was no one there when he felt the hand lift him up and pull him out of the predicament he nearly drowned twice. Once we were in very foggy weather and I happened to look out of the car window and said we are right on the edge of the cliff road pull over and he listened to me and that was quite a near miss too. The roads were pretty awful here then and no safety barriers and the road we were on treacherous in that kind of weather. Something short of a miracle we got out of it too.

They must have meaning for you. Maybe they are protecting you.

That is true. It is also hard to tell a dream from reality sometimes.

Maybe you will see one someday. I have never seen one before this.

God does know. I know there are demonic spirits and we do battle with them in our minds and hearts. The Devil has been unloosed on the world. You can see the results on any newscast. There is a struggle between good and evil played out in every possible scenario. I just know I woke up and saw the figure and then he was gone. I felt peaceful and protected to have him standing there with his sword drawn.

@akalinus Lastly, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his power. Take up God's instruments of war, so that you may be able to keep your position against all the deceits of the Evil One. @karibe The Evil One is alive and in the world today. He is already defeated but wants to take as many people with him as he can.

Yes, I believe I saw a good angel. I have seen enough evil things to know the difference.

That is a comforting thought. I like it.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I know what I think I saw.

@akalinus Really? I just did a quick search and found this. =) Blue – Seeing a blue angel represents power, protection, faith, strength, and courage. And I found that right here-- Glad I looked it up for myself because I learned what it truly meant and it's amazing!!

Blue Angels? I never heard of them. I remember someone in our church long ago said they saw little brown demons dancing on her child's bed. But blue angels is new to me and I never saw one. I can not find any info on the internet search, only the Blue Angels airplane people.

I'm not sure but I think that he was guarding me. It was so strange.

@cherriefic Yes, it was definitely a comforting dream or vision for me.

I think maybe I do. I have done a lot of stupid things and I think I was protected from my foolishment. Plus there were two times that my life was saved and it could only have been God or one of his angels.

@florelway I think that according to the Bible, angels are messengers. But it seems that they save and protect people at certain times.

@akalinus yes, angels are there to serve as spirit guides.
