Do you like collecting seashells?

I started collecting sea shells when I was a kid and still love to collect when I go to a beach. I still have a few shells which I collected during my school days. I am always fascinated by their different shapes and patterns. I use to decorate my garden pots with shells. They just change the way a planter looks. Some people color their shells but I like their natural look. Big shells also act as a center piece but I don't have such huge shells. Do you like collecting seashells? Picture from google images.

I collected seashells years ago, when we lived near the sea. I threw all them when we moved to Switzerland.

@Sheali Yes, I had to. We got rid of many things. An international move is a real pain, we threw or donated many things that we did not need.

I did try collecting seashells when I was a kid. But I stopped when the beach trips became less and less. My kids have started their own, so we try our best to bring them to the shore at least once a year.

We have never been close enough to go to the beach but now that we are in Texas, we drove down to Galveston this weekend and the grandkids spent all morning picking up seashells on the beach. They got some really pretty ones.

Ask them to try to have them for at least a year. It is fun to save these pretty little things

@Sheali aw that is so cool! I used to collect them when I was a kid but I don't go to the beach often anymore. And when I have, I didn't see a lot of seashells really. Depends what beach you go to here sometimes. I love looking at them. So beautiful and incredible.
