I Found It

Have you ever misplaced something and then drive yourself crazy looking for it?I'm sure most of us have at one time or another. Well, I misplaced my small sewing kit. I use it for little jobs and it comes in handy. A week or so ago I needed to mend something and couldn't find it. I searched high and low and it was nowhere to be found. I figured gremlins either stole it or hid it. Today I was looking for something else and I found my little sewing kit. It wasn't where it should be (obviously) but in the middle of a crate I have with all sorts of balls of yarn. I guess last time I was looking for a specific color yarn I placed it in there without even remembering. So, I'm happy to find my little sewing kit but now I can't remember what I was looking for when I came across it.

So glad you found your little sewing kit! I'm pretty organized here in our little dollhouse, so know where everything is. I usually lose my glasses, but keep extras scattered in different areas. I did find an unexpected surprise in a handbag I haven't used since last year just this morning. It was a hundred dollar bill, and I can't remember why it was stuffed in a pocket in my purse. I'm not complaining!

Now that's the kind of surprise I'd like to find in one of my purses.

I love it when I've misplaced something and days later find it. I also love it when I packed something away for another day, and found it when I least expected it because I forgot about it. I wanted a new scent for my scensey melts earlier, and I found a new package that I bought last winter and never ever opened. They smell so pretty, glad that I found that package and I am glad that you found your little sewing kit.

@Marilynda1225 In the spring and summer I like cucumber-melon or lavender or lemon verbena-light scents. In the autumn and winter I like cranberry, cinnamon and heavier scents. I found a bar called Snowplace like home-I bought it just before Christmas but never opened it. Its nice and light, and I've got that going in 2 of the warmers.

@Juliaacv I have a wax melt thingee and got a scent called Christmas cookies. I fake everyone out when I use it since it makes the house smell delicious but disappointing when they find out there's no cookies baking. Your scents sound like they would be really nice.

I have a bigger sewing box but this little one is handy for a small mend. What kind of scents do you use in your melts? Floral?

I am glad you found your swing kit. Two weeks ago I made muffins. As I used an American recipe I took out my spoons and cups, I used them, I put the muffin dough in the muffin pan, put in the oven and when I wanted to put the spoons back they had disappeared. I searched for them for at least 4 days. I was almost ready to buy a new set from amazon, when I finally got out from a shelf my electronic scale to weigh something and the spoons were there.
