The Bible is not a book of religion but a manual of life

Light of life: the rays of the sun penetrate through the foliage of a tropical fruit tree called "water apples"

Contrary to what people think and believe, the Bible is not a book of religion. The Bible is not a book of rituals for man to try to approach a distant god, difficult to reach, doing everything possible. It is not a treatise that instructs on how to make a series of sacrifices that lead to obtaining the unmerited favor of a relentless god without mercy. That is not the Will of YHVH GOD of the Bible for the most precious creature of Him. The Bible is The Will of GOD revealed to men in this Era of Grace and what GOD wants is for today's man to receive the abundant Life that the Lord Jesus Christ came to make available. In the Gospel of John chapter 3 and in verse 16 it reads: "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not be lost, but may have eternal life" Jesus Christ declares that he came so that man may have life, life in abundance, as recorded in verse 10 of chapter 10 of the Gospel of John: "I came for you to have life and for you to have it in abundance". The Bible is not a book of religion but a manual of life. The Bible contains the Word of GOD and in it is carefully exposed what man needs to live in harmony with his Creator, his environment and himself. The Bible contains what He wants man to do in order to appropriate the fullness of life He wants him to have, and basically what man should do is just believe in His Word and live pleasing His Author. Therefore, through these lines, I ask you not to ignore the Word of God contained in the Bible, do not continue in that obstinate position of rebellion against the Word of God. Do not despise the Word any more because it is good and she wants what the Author of the Word wants: that it does you good and that you benefit by putting that Word into practice. The Bible is your friend and not your enemy. The only enemy you have is the so-called prince and god of this world, Satan the devil, who is interested in you continuing with that obtuse position against the Word of God so that you can be destroyed. "A number of other signs Jesus did before his disciples which are not recorded in this book: But these are recorded, so that you may have faith that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and so that, having this faith you may have life in his name" (John 20:30-31) Please let me know your opinion on this topic. I will be grateful

Basically, the Old Testament is a history of God's relationship with the Jews. The New Testament is a history of Jesus' ministry on earth and the acts of the apostles and disciples that followed Him. The middle of the Bible is the Psalms and the Proverbs. Psalms are poems and songs. Proverbs are bits of wisdom. I know that is simplistic but that is how I see it.

I agree, The Old Covenant is a story of YHVH's relationship with his people, the Hebrew people. The New Covenant, the history of the ministry of Jesus and the acts of the apostles and disciples who followed them, who formed the first century church ... And the whole Bible, which brings together in it the Old and the New Covenants, the foundation of the Scriptures on which the "building of my church ..." is based (Matthew 16:18) constituted by the Jews and Gentiles who today follow Christ. It is a simple vision of this vital matter.

God is love and I know he knows each one of us. I did not read the Bible to the end, but I believe that everything we do from our hearts is good.

@karibe I think I will never read it to the end, because I do not like what I read. God in the Bible is not good, and I perceive it differently and I do not want to spoil the picture of Him.

Yes, He is Love, and He knows everything, He knows you and me, and He wants you and I to know Him, to know His Word, the Truth, and to be saved in Christ so that we may have abundant and eternal life. . You're still in time to finish reading it.

@Nevena83 That you do not want to read The Bible is a decision of yours that is respected. You can choose to read it or not, just as you can decide whether you believe in GOD or not. But GOD, YHVH GOD, in the Bible is good as it is in simism. GOD and his Word, present in the Bible for this time, one is. And you can not know GOD and the Father of Jesus Christ if you do not read the Bible and do not study it. How do you perceive it?

They are very good, nothing similar in textures and flavor to the apple of there, but they are sweet and refreshing when they are at their point of maturation. We are in the same book my friend and brother in Christ.

And I also feel that you have never read the Bible because if you had read it, I would probably have a useful comment on the subject presented in this discussion, but the most I feel is that you are missing the opportunity to know, for your good, the thoughts, plans, purposes and will of the Creator of the Universe and Creator and giver of life.

I love spending time in God's Word because it's life to my soul, strength to my body, and life everlasting. I post a daily Bible study in which the Holy Spirit is my teacher and I pass along what He teaches me from God's Word, applying it to today.

Well fine if. The spirit is the life giver; the flesh is of no value: the words which I have said to you are spirit and they are life (John 6:63)

That is correct, because it is the Truth and it is the life, the Word of our loving Creator, but it also wants to be our loving Father in the New Birth that is in Christ Jesus, the hope of Glory.
