Montreal woman finds frog in her spinach container!
Have you ever found something strange in your food, something that didn't belong there? Were you shocked? Were you happy with your surprise? What did you do about it?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some humorous comments:
* One kid asked his mother if they could go buy a container and hoped that they would find a pony in their container.
* Some consumers were disappointed and jealous because they didn't get a free pet in their container.
* The producer assured the woman that she would not be charged for the free food (protein) in her salad.
A Montreal woman had a bit of a jump-scare Tuesday morning while preparing her breakfast. Lethicia Benedicto said she discovered a small live frog in a plastic Fresh Attitude brand spinach container.

At least the spinach must be healthy, as the frog was alive.. I could try to kiss the frog and see if it turns to a prince.. ??

Yes, it shows that spinach is good for people and frogs.

@1hopefulman We have some out by the pond. If it ever warms up enough I will start hearing them soon.

At least the frog was still alive. I guess it ate some of the spinach.

I wouldn't mind a pony either... but if that isn't possible... a Great Dane! I even have a name picked out...

That's true but it might give one a jolt when it jumps out. Who expects a frog in their spinach? I found a few ladybugs in my salad but din not worry about it. I just put them out on my balcony.

@1hopefulman I would also be scared. I have found some very small snails in the salad that I bring inside from the garden. I put them back in the garden.

Nothing in my food so far, just food. I read the Montreal story and it gave me the creeps...I buy my spinach in that big plastic box and eat it every lunch in a sandwich. I know it can happen but thankfully it has never happened to me...

I think your grandchildren would love it if you found a pony in your food. They could ride it on the beach when they visit!

Yes, it was a big surprise! Would you by that brand of salad again if that had happened to you?

@1hopefulman I don't know. The chances of the same thing happening a second time must be astronomical.

Yes, it was very nice that they didn't charge her extra. Did you find the piece of plastic in a meal at a restaurant?

I was laughing because I associated frog with mont-tree-all but almost afraid to share this thought thinking someone from Montreal might be offended. You could almost write a nursery-rhyme for it.
There was woman from Montreal
She found a frog in her spinach.. continue?
That was funny and funny comments too.

@1hopefulman I know, I worry about that one and always ready to retract if required. Nature has always been good to me and the sound around the Lilly's in summer has pleasant memories so the little song those creatures make is never repulsive in my mind. Sounds of sweet Quebec.

I expect to find some insects sometimes in veggies so I wash them. As for a frog, I think that it is too much

In some places they eat insects and frogs are a delicacy. I prefer a good apple!

A roach would make me lose my appetite! I found a few ladybugs in my lettuce a few times but I just thought that was cute.
