As you all seemed to enjoy my last photo of Vince and I in fancy dress, here is another. We were hippies this time and it was probably a decade ago. Imagine that – a whole decade. It was a surprise party for our good friend who turned 60 that evening. Now their lovely house is up for sale and they will be moving back to the city. We will surely miss them.
Don’t you think we look cool?

This certainly makes me think of you differently. I did not realize how hip you were. No WONDER your husband was attracted to you. You are hip, lady. That being said, hippies were big here in the 60s. If this was only ten years ago, is Australia THAT far behind the times?

What a hippie cool idea for a 60th birthday party. You and your husband are true soul mates. :-D

LOL. Love this! Where are the rest of the band members? Are y'all getting the old rock group back together?

@JudyEv - I recently watched 2 BBC mystery TV series and both of them had episodes where an old rock band was getting back together. When I saw your photo it reminded me of the episodes.
I remember in one episode, there was a young detective paired with the old detective. The old detective was questioning one of the members of the rock group because he was investigating a murder and wanting to know her whereabouts at the time. The lady said some remark about sleeping with both of the guys in the group. The young detective was listening to the interview, He sighs heavily and says to the old detective: "Oh the free-spirited promiscuity of your generation just takes my breath away!"

Yes, it is fun to dress up. Here in Jerusalem we are celebrating Purim. We give out gifts to people and we humantashans and dress up. It is fun. I have a cat sweater I bought when I worked at the Thrift Shop and have it on and my suspenders and a hat and a top. It is a fun holiday.

The days of bell bottom pants, mini skirts that I never wore had terrible legs and Woodstock! Those were the days, we were so younger and it ended, now we are retiring age. Social security better last forever!

@oahuwriter I haven't signed any petitions but I don't think there is any fear that our social security will shut down.
