In Venezuela there is the particularity that when it is lunchtime we always accompany the food with ripe banana, either in the oven, fried, parboiled.
It is a fundamental companion in any typical dish here and very nutritious.
The banana benefits the movement of food through the digestive system and contributes to the solidification of fecal matter. Bananas are also a source of fructo-oligosaccharides, a prebiotic compound that increases the growth of beneficial bacteria that live in the digestive tract
Tell me! Have you eaten banana?

mm I love bananas, always great on there own or chopped up in yogurt.
sometimes I'll freeze them, put them in the blender with a little bit of cream/milk. then top with strawberries or coconut flakes. it's like healthy ice cream

I usually eat at least one banana every day, not heated, but raw.. the ripe ones are the best.. Our friend Felix - 1hopefulman - eats lots of bananas and got rid of a digestion problem a long time ago by eating bananas.
