And sometimes it soothes my soul to hear it. Other times I cannot listen at all. Today is one of those rare days when I enjoy the song, the music, the lyrics. Somehow, it gives me hope. Sharing this song with you. I will listen and try to doze off as I really need a nap. I hear a light rain falling on the screen room roof. Maybe that is where I need to be. I have goosebumps right now. I know that song very well. That nap, song, and rain on your screened in room sounds like it will do you good.

Yes it is very therapeutic. I believe music is food for our souls. I have a plaque in our music room.

I still can't figure out how there could have been an unprotected open window that high up.

That song is a tear jerker for sure and when I learned years ago what it was about it makes my heart even sadder. It truly is an amazing song!

I like it even though I can't help feel sad when I recall why it was written. So sad to lose a child.

It's a beautiful song for a sad reason. I sweet tribute to his son, and I imagine a good way to channel his emotions, which is what musicians usually seem to do.
