Purchasing a new home

Hubby and I are making the plunge. We are going to get a new home. We have lived in our mobile home since we moved in together, 22 years ago. The mobile home we lived in is an older model. Now we are ready for a new one. The one we may get it if all goes the way we plan is a double wide. It will have 3 bedrooms, a den, a living room, 2 baths, a small utility room and of course a kitchen. I am super excited and nervous about it. Neither one of us has ever owned a new home. I have only lived in three homes in my life. I have lived with my parents, my grandparents and my hubby. So this will be super new for me. John has lived in many homes. His parents moved around a lot during his life. They even bought one new home. I will have a lot to write about while we journey through this process. I hope you all don't get bored hearing about fears, gripes, and tales along my journey. This will be a big process and I will tell you all more about it in upcoming posts.
