Hrmmm, Id prolly go for china and india, but their acceleration is dependant on outside resources such as australian metals and what not.
With Australia negotiating a treaty with japan it remains in debate.
I think in the far future, the more economically and environmentally viable countries like the european ones, those who are not consumeristic to the core will reign supreme

Enter the Dragon it will be China with India coming in as a hot second. But development is so much faster in China -- I live in a small city in the South and last year there were more tower cranes than I'd ever seen in my life. There are more multi-millionaires in China than the whole population of Australia and NZ put together. Both these countries have been brought to their knees in times past by the predator colonising nations -- now the tables have turned -- but they won't set out to conquer as the Western nations did -- their wealth will give them automatic superiority. If a country like the US did go to war with China it would be the last war it ever fought.

It is gonna be India and China who are going to be the future countries. The amount of work that has been done in these countries in the recent years was simply wonderful. If you just observe we can easily realize that their economic policies were simply great. They are the future superpowers and economics is their tool.
