I took a nice long nap and when I woke I was starving, so, I went to the stock pile of home canned foods.
I chose sweet peas as the green.
Then I seen it, the last jar of deer meat.
I made fried deer with gravy over bread and a side of sweet peas in real butter.
Yes I ate this red meat. Yes it was delicious.
What did you have for dinner?

No, you go out and kill the deer yourself.

That sounds better than hamburger with cream of mushroom soup.

I like that! I used to make this homemade hamburger helper like that.

I love venison. I had some a couple of days ago in celebration of getting my car back. A friend from church is a hunter and gave me a package. Your meal sounds good.
I'm still having eggs and potatoes. Today, I'll change it up for the first time in a long time.

Oh, that sounds good. Last night I warmed up some roast pork and potatoes that my brother had left. with that I made a microwave apple crisp and we also had a spinach and carrot salad.

Sometimes the next day is better than the day you make them.

I haven't eaten venison in a while. I hate the smell of it raw but it is delicious when decently prepared.
I'm glad you got a nap!

Deer meat sounds good, although I don't think I have ever tried it. I had a low carb pizza wrap.
