I googled the easiest definition of enzymes and it says :are biological molecules (typically proteins) that significantly speed up the rate of virtually all of the chemical reactions that take place within cells. They are vital for life and serve a wide range of important functions in the body, such as aiding in digestion and metabolism
I purchased 2 bottles from some local organic farmers and so far I feel some good effects such as improved digestion. My colleagues said I can also use apple cider vinegar, but I find it sour. The one I took was plant based as it is produced from herbs, plants and fruits. Yakult is also considered an enzyme.
Had you tried taking enzymes?

@florelway I eat only food that is still alive, meaning not cooked and comes from a plant, basically fruits and vegetables. I eat this way as it has helped me greatly improve my health.

@1hopefulman that's the best method. I only eat some raw veggies like lettuce, cucumber fruits, tomatoes but eggplant, squash, must be slightly cooked.

@florelway no, it is a probiotic drink, I guess it has nothing to do with enzymes.

@florelway if it's good for digestive issues I may take it. I would have to ask my doctor first because of the medication I am on.

@simone10 yes best to consult your doctor, but you see I really don't see it as having contra indications.

I think the apple cider vinegar is in itself an enzyme.

I'm happy you are feeling some positive effect from it already. I have tried the apple cider vinegar, but I also find it a bit harsh

@florelway Probably a good thing since the vinegar is rather sharp

The one I am taking has a taste similar to apple cider only that it's not as sour as apple cider.
