What did you have for lunch today?

I am heading out hiking with a friend later this afternoon. After hiking, our ritual is to go to Saul's Deli in Berkeley for latkes and...whatever we want. To set myself up for the hike and subsequent dinner, I had leftover Tom Kha Gai for lunch today, supplemented with olive oil (healthy, I've read), rice, and some snow peas harvested from my balcony garden. It was delicious. Do you sometime plan your lunches based on what you'll be having for dinner? What's on your lunch and dinner menu for today? Note: Oops. I took a sexy picture of my Tom Kha Gai, but pictures aren't working right now. They were for a spell earlier today. Another note: I was able to add the picture at 1:46 PM, California time, 4/8/19.

@TheHorse I do not eat dinner. I plan some of my meals acording to what I have left to eat after Shabbat.

@TheHorse I try to make food ahead of time so not the same all the time. I eat chicken and had shakshuka once for Shabbat and had sphaghetti and meatballs for Shabbat. For Passover I hope to have steak and will have chicken ready to eat for after the holiday.

"Old cheese" doesn't make it sound that great, but I'm glad it did the trick!

I had a half an egg sandwich and two cookies at church around 10:30 am and didn't eat again until late having a burger. It wasn't one of my better eating days.

Lunch today was homemade chocolate granola with milk and a large dollop of natural peanut butter.

@TheHorse It's homemade because store-bought granola is WAY too sweet for my taste. The peanut butter also has zero sweeteners in it. I wouldn't call it a savoury meal but it's definitely hearty.
