The homemade pan pizza was wonderful!

It was great! The crust was nice and crispy--way better than anything you can get at Pizza Hut. That being said when I make the other half of the dough I will be sure to put the pan on the stovetop for MORE than 3 minutes to really crisp up the bottom. (I like bread products pretty well done)
I highly recommend this recipe to anyone interested in making pan pizza at home.
This recipe requires no kneading, no stretching—pretty much no skill whatsoever to create a crisp-crusted, airy, chewy pan pizza. Top as desired.

Pizza Hut makes some very good pan pizzas as well as the regular crest pizzas.

Congratulations. I don´t have a cast iron skillet though, except for the one I use for steaks.

@NJChicaa The one I have for steaks does not have the right bottom, maybe.

Thanks for posting the link to the recipe. I am sure I will try it at some point. We are big fans of pizza. I used to make a whole wheat crust, about forty years ago, when I was married to my first husband. I do not remember if I liked it or not. My current husband has worked in pizza shops and says pizza crust is too hard for home bakers to make. I want to prove him wrong.

I am not that good at cooking, but I would definitely try making it. As for your recipe and your description on how it turned out to be, it made me feel hungry!

It looks like a really good recipe.
I cannot say that I like Pizza Hut at all.
I knew someone who once worked there and he told me that the pizza came out of the pans so easily because of the pumps of grease that they put into it before adding the crust. That turned me right off and explained why so much grease on the box.

Sounds good to me. I will try it but I also have a pizza maker so I don't know how it would work better. I can try both ways since I also have a cast iron skillet.
