No sweetener added

Germany

The world of kid's nutrition is a mine field. We have been on a kid's birthday party yesterday and the drinks bragged with the slogan "no sweeteners added" which is easy when the second ingredient is SUGAR.

I have checked online the ingredients (it is mandatory to list them now) it contains 9.7 grams of sugar every 100 grams of product.

Yepp, it has several sugar cubes in it, really misleading slogan.

@stine1online It's not a honest slogan.

Never drink that stuff, but what's funny is that here and in Sweden it's sold as Capri Sonne. So they use German here and English in Germany. The same stuff, but I suppose the foreign language makes it seem better both places.

@stine1online They might have changed it here too, but everyone says Capri Sonne so I hope they stick with that.

It used to be Capri Sonne for decades but they changed it last year or maybe even the year before... I still miss "Raider" which is Twix and the kid's menu at Mc Donald's used to have a different German name, too.
