I noticed that many people like Chinese food, but they can't use chopsticks. Today I'm here to teach you how to use chopsticks correctly.
To use chopsticks, you need four fingers: thumb, index finger, middle finger and ring finger. First of all, you need to fix the bottom chopstick with the thumb, the ring finger, the cross point between the forefinger and the thumb. Next, your thumb top, index finger, middle finger are used to secure and control the top chopstick. Last but not least, the bottom chopstick is always fixed, while the top chopstick can be moved up and down as needed. When you move the top chopstick, all you need to do is to move your thumb, index finger and middle finger.
Here's a little secret: it's said that people who use chopsticks with their left hand are smarter than those who use chopsticks with their right hand. But most Chinese people are used to using chopsticks with their right hand. I took the picture myself, you can use it as a reference.

it took some practice but I'm pretty good with chopsticks now. I had a pair that came with instructuons and I would practice picking up my small toys as a kid

What's curious about my experience with chopsticks is that I learned by practicing. But I really appreciate your tips on how to use them. thanks.
