Hello, MyLotters! My #20Resolutions project is still full steam ahead, and it's time to check in. As of last report, my score was 1 book, 7 wardrobe items, 1 art project, 1 blog post, 2 letters, 3 web articles, 1 charitable contribution, and 3 items out of my garage. I made 1 new friend, and I walked 22.64 miles. I'd lost two pounds but gained them back, so zero net, and I had not made any drawings in my sketch book, finished knitting any scarves or hats for the homeless, made any listings on Etsy or eBay, visited any new places, written any poems, or taken any beautiful photos, and I was still at my original starting levels of 17 in Spanish and 14 in French. I am happy to report that I am continuing to make progress, and I have now posted items on some of my resolutions that didn't have anything, yet. I produced a drawing in my sketchbook, pictured above (I know it looks silly--it was the product of drawing prompts from Reckless Deck - bird, Victorian frock coat, and Winchester rifle, so you have to expect it to look kind of silly). I have also made great progress in both Spanish and French on Duolingo--I popped up one level in Spanish, and TWO in French, to achieve 18 and 16, respectively. I had a decent conversation in Spanish yesterday with my coworker from Mexico, and she says that I have improved. I finished one scarf and am about halfway through another, and I wrote a third letter. I listed an item on Etsy ( a knitted rug) and made another charitable contribution. I have posted 20.38 miles and 22.26 miles for week two and three, and I made another new friend. I still have a few resolutions that I haven't made any progress on, yet--eBay listings, new places, poems, and photographs, but I kind of like still having things that I can achieve "firsts" on. As for my weight, this time I gained several pounds and then lost it back, but that still leaves me at my starting point. This is going to be one of the most, if not THE most, challenging resolutions. As frustrating as it can be, though, I know I have the support of my friends, and I am committed to working hard to achieve ALL of these goals!

Thanks! I figure if I keep chipping away at this and that, I'll be fine.

Keep trying. You're almost at target! I like the struggles you had with your diet. I can relate to that.

Yes, it seems like I can only lose the weight if I've already gained it! I have lost about 20 pounds already in the past year, so I'm hoping I have it i me to lose that next 20.

Congrats on all the achievements and hopefully you won't go too fast on the rest, that way you'll have a few firsts to last you a while. Kool drawing.

Thanks! I was working on another drawing, but the people I was with wanted to do the one with the prompts. I'll post the other one when I finish it, though!

Thank you! Sometimes it's fun to just draw something silly. It didn't take very long.
