Received first cash out on Fetch Rewards

Now that I know it's legit, I thought I would share it with you all. Fetch Rewards is one of those apps for your phone, similar to what I know of "Receipt Hog" and sort of similar to iBotta, but you can scan ANY grocery receipt, and it gives you more points if you buy specific products but gives you a minimum of 25 points per grocery transaction. Where you scan receipts for groceries and liquor stores and you accrue points based on what you buy. The nice thing is you get at minimum 25 points per receipt, whether or not one of their "hot items" is on it. They have companies they PARTNER with, and if you purchase one of those items, you get XX amount of points. I usually do not go out of my way to buy a specific brand unless that's what I am looking for at the time, and if it happens to give me extra points, so be it! I just cashed out my first $10 Amazon Gift Card (10,000 points). This took me about 4 months to accomplish. I don't do THAT much grocery shopping, as I am a single lady, so maybe larger families who buy more groceries would do more. Also, a lot of my shopping is at Aldi, which never seemed to offer more than 25 points per receipt. I think I would suggest it and will continue to use it for now. And also, one of the benefits is that the Amazon gift card at least was instantly sent - which seems awesome. Have you tried this one? Or are you a fan of any receipt sites?

@db20747 It depends on the amount you want to cash out at. They start at $5.00 and you can do that in just a few shopping trips.

That's nice to know. I may look that one up and install it. Pretty simple to scan receipts. I'm using ShopKicks right now and like it.

@maezee Yes, you can earn by walking in stores and scanning products, bonus points if you buy the products they highlight.

I tried Fetch but they wouldn't accept my grocery reciept. I am going with Checkout 51 now, since you can scan them from the computer.

How do you scan from a computer? I guess for me it’s easier to scan with my phone.

@maezee You have to scan from a printer and it puts them in your computer jpg files.

Yes. Do you have luck with iBotta though? It seems like it's very specific items they ask you to buy.

I haven’t used receipt hog but I have been meaning to check it out. I like Fetch because you can just scan your receipt and be done with it rather than with like iBotta where you HAVE to buy the specific items.

@maezee Reciept Hog is nice because you can use most receipts, even restaurant receipts, or gas receipts...etc. And you earn so many points depending on how much was spent at the store I think. I'm liking Fetch so far! Oh yeah, that would be a pain with iBotta.

Congrats!! I got tired of scanning my receipts and stopped short of collecting a reward for doing them--glad to see you got your prize!

I absolutely love Fetch rewards! I have had this app for a while now and recommended it here as well! Lol. At Walmart I get quite a few of the 50 point receipts, especially since my kids love spaghettio's.

Have not tried this yet, but seems worth the little time it would take for anyone who buys food!

That sounds like a bit of useful extra money and glad you are benefiting. I won't join though as I don't like my every action to be under surveillance like that!

No, I am not a huge fan of receipt sites because they are only for US, UK and Canada not working for my country.

I've never heard such sites exist. And I do not live in the US so I probably would not be able to do it. Oh and I think they pay a little
