Do you ever have memories that might be dreams or might be real?

Last night, I had some weird dreams. There were about things that happened during the previous day, including swimming with Horse Jr. and practicing music with the rock 'n roll boys. When I awoke this morning, I couldn't remember for sure whether some of things I was thinking about were reality, or from my dreams. Now, I thnk I have most of it sorted out but I'm not 100% sure.

Maybe I should try that.

Reality is a very tricky business. We don't know exactly what it is, where it comes from or how it's created and then there's growing evidence for the Many Worlds Theory. And all we have are our dependable infallible senses...You know, the same ones that tell us that the Earth is flat and stationary.

@TheHorse I think that's a very reasonable possibility.

Yep. I sometimes have this feeling that my dream world is a separate but equally valid world, relative to my waking world.

@xander6464 That'd be cool if we all communicated with each other in the "spiritual world." Eh, then again, I tend to be a realist.

I often mistake my dreams for reality... or may be something is real and I forgot.

@TheHorse Many times (too many times) I have premonitory dreams. When I see something bad in a dream I immediately feel anxious wonder when this is going to happen.

I remembered a dream from last night or the night before while I was driving today. Something in the real world reminded of the dream. I was then able to recall much of the dream, and ponder what it meant.

I have as well. I do try to "analyze" my dreams. They're there for a reason.

@TheHorse Some I have had I understand and do not need to analyze but others I do not know about them.

It happens a bit, but after a few minutes to wake and clear my head I realize it was just a dream.

@Bensen32 The first thing I ask mysef is, Do I have to get up and work? Or can I just lie here for awhile.

I too posted a discussion on similar experience with me. I felt as if it was a hallucination and it took me sometime to come to reality

Were you finally able to separate the dream content from reality?

@arunima25 Sometimes when I'm just waking up, I think I'm somewhere else, or that I'm fully awake. But I'm really still dreaming. A lot of people don't know that REM sleep is actually very light sleep, not deep sleep.

It was odd for me. I suppose I was "processing" some of the things that had been discussed the day before.

Great question. Harde for me to answer because in my dreams I am remembering persons, places or things that were a part of my life.

I don't believe I get my dreams mixed up with reality but who can be sure?

This is a common problem with many people. Sometimes dreams seems to be real. And take time to come out of it. Really its weird. But some of the people have a thought that if you shared your weird dreams, it will never becomes reality.
