Hail Storms and Car Alarms .....

Well, they, and by "they" I mean the weather people, did say that rain was a coming.
And it certainly came this afternoon...
There I was , minding my own business, when it happened ….
An almighty gust of wind ( from outside, not me !), and then the downpouring of hail stones....as big as ...well, hailstones !
It lasted only a few minutes but it was pretty impressive I can tell you ….so much so, that the car alarm went off across the road. The family are away and no one bothered to venture out in such bad weather so it went largely un noticed !
Anyway, that's it ...all over in a flash....crash and bleep !!!

Is the alarm still bleeping, or have your neighbors come home?
I hope you didn't get bonked on the head by the hail.

they are away on holiday at the moment. Car alarm stopped after about 30 seconds. I didn't go out in it ….

Few years back a friend came back from france. On the journey back up he drove through a hail stone storm. He reckoned they were the size of golf balls. Questionned if he was lying on the phone but when i saw the car it looked like his car had been attacked by a maniac with a hammer!
The impact of ice was so strong in some places that it even triggered off car alarms,
