Bleeding Heart

I love the look of the bleeding heart flower vine. It is beautiful draped over a trellis, fence, pergola or arbor. It adds the beautiful vivid pink splash of color to your yards.
They adapt to shade as well as full sunlight. This beautiful plant will bloom for you off and on year round. Water regularly and fertilizer occasionally and this plant will bloom lushly for your pleasure.
I hold this plant close to my heart. It was one of the plants used to make an arbor for my first wedding. It is such a beautiful plant for such a sad name.
A few of the meanings behind the name are: A deep and passionate love between two people: Spurned or rejected love: Being too sensitive or emotionally reactive to the world around you: Feeling compassion and unconditional love for everything in creation: and A connection that goes beyond life and death
