What a sunday

Today we woke up early to participate in a collective solidarity walk in the nature to help a family that had a fire in their house and lost everything. Each participant paid 5€, we received a t-shirt (green or brown) and we walked 12km. There were more than 100 people in this walk. My husband in the picture (the one with the brown t-shirt) with a friend.
In the afternoon I went to the shopping with my mother as she wanted to buy new shoes and in our way home we stopped at my aunt's to visit her as she had been sick.
It was almost 8pm when I got home, so I am really tired today and can't wait to go to bed.
How was your Sunday?

I remember when you wrote about that fire. That was a wonderful thing to do to help them raise money and a good turnout.
You were very busy today, and must be extremely exhausted. Have a well-deservesd night’s sleep.
I had a very low key Sunday. All I did was walk in the morning and fell asleep reading at the pool.

@DianneN they are really in need as they lost everything, they weren't rich and have children. I already gave them some clothes from my children but this money will help them to buy a fridge, a TV and some other things. Their house is now being rebuild, the city council also helped.

Wow, I would have thought the walk itself would have been enough activity for the day!

Yes, the walk would have been enough, that is why I am so tired now.

They are really in need as they were already poor but now their situation is even worst. They also have children and I already gave them some clothes from my children and also some toys. Their house is being rebuild with the help of the city council and the money we raised yesterday will be used to buy a fridge, a TV and other things.

It was a simple way to help, the amount paid by each one of us wans't that much but all together we raised a good amount to help.
