Irresponsible motherhood.

Last night, we had a dinner with our friends. Four of my friends went ahead to the venue while my husband and I were late as the latter was still snoring. So I told them that we could be there in an hour.
By the time we arrived, two of my friends were not there. So the remaining two, told us that they had just left. The reason was that someone messaged them that their dog had bitten a two-year old kid.
Well, it was like this. The dog was inside their house and she just gave birth. Now, the kid, who lived far from my friend’s house, went to their house and seeing those cute fat puppies, walking around their yard, got in and picked one of them. This infuriated the mom, and she bit the kid’s shoulder.
And the mom’s kid? She was busy watching TV, not knowing that her two-year old kid was wandering around.
Imagine, two-year old. He can barely walk. And yet he had gone to someone’s house!
Very irresponsible motherhood indeed!

OMG!!! Although still the responsibility of the dog owner to shoulder medical expenses for the kid. But the mother is indeed irresponsible to leave her 2 year old kid to roam around neighborhood unassisted. It's just too bad they cannot argue the mother's irresponsibility for the dog's action.

@Janet357 Yeah they cannot make excuse for the irresponsibility of the mother it. It just is annoying that this happened because no one is attending to the innocent toddler beaten by also an innocent mother who is protecting her puppies. Both the mother and the pet owners are being inconvenient by it.

Gotta keep an eye on those two year olds. They get out, and go places we would never think of. I hope the mom watches better in the future.

How far was it? Two-year old baby should not be left alone walking.

@Janet357 17 years old, that is why but I am not generalizing it. I am thinking that she is not yet well aware of what to do.

@jobelbojel just the thought that she is 17, makes me think, hw irresponsible she is, making a baby at that age, goodness, what does she know about motherhood.
