A Short Vacation at Norddeich, Germany

How are you all fellow Mylotters? Sorry, I was not here for a few days. My hubby and I went for a short vacation in the north of Germany. It was my idea to take a short vacay at Norddeich, a beach in East Frisia for his birthday on the 16th of this month. We wanted to smell salty air.
Our 3 days vacation was just walking at the beach and at the promenade, enjoying the fresh air and the fantastic view. Though the weather was sunny, it was still windy for us. There were not many people strolling around. Good for us. It was my first time in East Frisia and so I enjoyed it much.
There are many beautiful places we went to but I will just post it here one after the other as it might become long to read for you. The photo was taken by me while sitting at a restaurant facing the awesome view of the sea.

We took a 5days trip too. It was so refreshing.
And its really good to share one by one because very long articles get less interesting

lucky folks! i'd love to go'n a vacation, e'en if'n fer jest a day. can't find reliable critter sitters though so such'll ne'er happen.
well, ya gotta've wind'n order to fly those kites! be glad ya weren't here's the winds 've been howlin' fer days. so glad y'all got to get 'way.

@thelme55 no ma'am, still howlin' (aka: gustin' to 45mph). aint gonna complain too loudly though 's a large portion 'f texas 'n oklahoma 're right'n the path 'f predicted tornadoes 'n large hail :(

Yes, we are lucky indeed @crazyhorseladycx. It was windy when we were there and so there were lots of kites flying in the sky. I hope the howling winds are already gone out of your way.

It's nice that you and your husband were able to get away and enjoy time at the beach etc. Beautiful seaside view from the restaurant.

I agree @allknowing. I prefer the silent almost empty beach. I don like crowded beach where tourists are all lying there in their bathing suits. Thanks.

Sounds great to know the beach visit is also accompanied with moderate weather.
In India the places known for beach and the ones famous for hills and altitude are too distinct in their weather. Majority of the beaches are so humid and hot that tanning is pretty common in coastal belts , I belt sunscreens wont be effective.
