Am I the Only One That Thinks Netflix Needs to Improve its Movie Trailers?

I, as a rule, don't judge a movie by its trailer to begin with. But, Netflix, in my opinion at least, just doesn't seem to get the point of a trailer/movie preview. Many of their trailers, especially of lesser-known movies, don't tell you anything. They consist of some horrible music and a few scenes that aren't even remotely related to the plot. What's the point of having the trailer if you aren't going to tell me why I should watch it?

I haven't seen any lately, but from what you describe it wouldn't make me want to watch a movie. Sounds totally boring. Yes, they have missed the mark.

It actually makes me skeptical whenever I see one. It's as though they are trying to hide the fact it will be a terrible movie.

@srhelmer That is true also or they show a portion in the trailer that has little to do with the movie itself. Very misleading.
