Headache!

I usually get a violent tension headache at the back of my neck after stressful situations go away. Sure enough, yesterday we finished the school year with students (teachers have another three days) and today I woke up with a headache.
Often I can make a headache go away by drinking more water, if it was caused by dehydration, by drinking my anti-inflammatory chai that I make with fresh ginger and turmeric, or putting peppermint oil on my temples.
Today I am resorting to Tylenol (paracetamol to some of the world). Sometimes it works. Sometimes ibuprofen works better... it's likeI have to try one and if that doesn't workI take the other.
What are your tips for getting rid of a tension headache?

Lots of people here on myLot are talking about ginger lately. I guess I need to check it out. I am glad your headache went away.

Ginger is good for a lot of things! Very rarely do I get sick. Unfortunately it turned out that this headache was the start of a cold. Now I'm over it.

@petatonicsca i think it's 200mg of ibuprofen with 325mg of paracetamol. i only take it when it's really severe, and i only take one pill.
