Attending a wedding

As I last posted I was traveling back home to attend my cousin’s wedding. The ceremonies were ok and the reception was kind of grand since it was done in a hotel ballroom so the ambience was a bit posh. Food were great since it was buffet so it’s kind of plenty. I would commend the hostess she was quite eloquent in handling the program. She can do adlibs in between so when there’s technical problems happen she can cover it well. And she can well blend in with the speeches made by their parents and well wishers. It was interesting that she started it with like a story telling about the lovelife of the newly weds then from there the program continues on. I would say I enjoyed the whole program. It was not perfect but she handled it well till the end.

Yeah she was the youngest among her three siblings and I think the parents gave their best to their youngest daughter.

@kareng yeah that’s true. And since she’s the last from the family to get married they were some how given the best since parents we’re relaxed already.

Yeah she’s a good emcee. I am impressed with her talent it’s rare to find it here in the province working. She can do well in Manila if she wants to.

There’s nothing wrong with wedding reception program but I’m just not a fan.

I just did. Now we’re back home to rest and tomorrow we’re scheduled to fly back home in Manila. So we rest for now and enjoy the memories of the event

Yeah it was something we seldom do in the normal way of life. Meeting family and friends was a bonus on this trip back home.

Not a big fan of weddings myself. I'm actually glad my wife and I kept it simple and just went to the courthouse because some of the weddings around here are obscenely expensive.

I know it's a lot of work to make a wedding run smoothly . . . so much goes on behind the scenes . . . but if the guests enjoy themselves, then that's a good thing. A great MC helps to keep it all running better!

Yeah she’s really on top of everything and when there’s glitches in the program she would do adlibs and try to do something else to make the audience not bored thus allowing the staff behind the program do their own thing.
