well, i always hear this that if you want to lose weight you take your dinner before 7 pm.
because you still have a lot of activities therefore your body burns all the calories you take in.
well, for two days now, i have taken my dinner at 4pm.
and after that i'm very active.
i dont know if this will.do.some miracle.
what do you think? is it effective?

@Starkinds _As pumpkinjam commented, it would depend on what you eat.

I doubt very much that it will be effective - unless it leads to some other good eating habits. It really makes little difference what time you eat. You burn so many calories through movement, of course, but it's a lot more complicated than 'calorie input minus calorie output equals weight loss'.
Weight loss is best achieved through WHAT you eat, not when or how much.

It should help but not be a major factor. You should cut back calories, eat healthy, exercise. It all works together. If I were you, I would keep a journal and document daily meals, number of calories, and weigh in at same time of day for five to seven days to see how you are doing and then tweak your day (less food, less calories, more exercise..whatever is needed to reach your goal.)

I think if I eat at 4 pm I would be starving again before I go to bed.

@Janet357 I take less food than I am hungry. Like if I have to take 1 chapatti (Indian food) I'll Take 1 chapati, not more.. That's the rule.
Yes but sometimes I take more like when with sister's family or anything special occasions, I eat a little more. But In daily routine I take less... And I also avoid fatty foods... I try to do work manually, like cleaning my car or cleaning the home when I feel I have eaten much then I do something that the food gets digested.. And so on

I don't know if it would be effective. We eat early every day and I find that by around 7 we are hungry for a snack.

You need to do exercise ( any kinds) to lose weight. We eat around 6 at night but we eat very healthy foods. And we never eat after dinner...

It depends on the foods you eat. But for sure, you will lose weight when you starve or go fasting.

@Janet357 Well, others may do it. I do fasting but not as often. I lost 10 kilos from my 70 kilos previous weight by walking and eating oatmeal for my breakfast. It's a long process. It takes me several months.
