I really enjoyed sharing this story of a former criminal who spent time in jail in Indiana after he was convicted of robbing a Little Caesars Pizza store with the help of an employee six years ago. Rameil Pitamber who was 17 years of age at that time, had lost his father which harmed his view of life at that time. Rameil committed the crime since he felt lost without a positive role model like his father to guide him. What happened next was that the police officer who arrested Rameil was Brian Nugent who was a deputy police chief in Avon Indiana was asked by Rameil's mother Daphne Harris to see if he could serve as his mentor after Rameil was sentenced to prison for 11 years. Rameil was released on good behavior after a period of time in prison. Brian saw that Rameil was really a good young man who need someone to guide him in a positive direction. Thanks to the positive relationship that Ramiel has had with Officer Pitamber, Ramiel has learned how to earn a living and going to school to learn how to live a life of productivity. It Is one thing for the entertainment news shows to try to show strife in our nation. Officer Pitamber is happy that he took up he role of mentor to Ramiel at the advice of his mother.

A lot of teens are not bad kids. They make wrong choices. Thank goodness Officer Nugent offered his services to assist Rameil to see the light and keep him away from trouble.

@Deepizzaguy yes. I really liked that. The boy was not really bad but he was just helpless and he chose the wrong way

Some kids are bad since they feel hopeless to find a direction in life. One minister once said that when people get tired of sin, they usually repent of their evil ways.

@Deepizzaguy I do think that volunteerism should work in silence.

The best role models try to keep a low profile in life.

@Shavkat Keeping a low profile brings more blessing to those who work in silence since more blessings come to that person,

At least he had time to show this person the right path. This prove not all of them are trigger happy.
