The kids have 4 more days left of school. The last week has been quite full.
Monday my eldest took part in a 3-pitch tournament with the 7th-8th graders from all the elementary schools that feed into the local catholic high school. They ended up losing every game, but had fun and good weather. I was able to watch some and ended up with a bit of a sunburn.
Wednesday was my youngest’s celebration of learning. It was a get together for the kindergarten students.
Thursday my middle child had her class trip to Fun Zone in Niagara Falls. The kids certainly had fun, even though the 6-7-8 year olds were competing with 10-12-13 year olds for the arcade machines. But that probably bothered the adults of the group more than the kids.
Today (Friday) I went with my youngest’s class to the local zoo. We had great weather and enjoyed seeing the animals. I even got to feed the giraffes!
After a busy week, it would be nice to rest, but the weekend looks almost as busy. Next week is also going to be busy. Maybe next month I’ll have some time to rest???

Primarily, each batter only gets 3 pitches to get on base. There are other slightly different rules, but as I am not knowledgeable in either, I can’t explain them all.

Yes, I have! It is a busy time of year. Definitely wouldn’t have been able to make the trips if I had been working.

The kids are looking forward to it. My oldest will be graduating from elementary school, so she’s really excited.
