Do you remember this time in History?

June 21, 2019 9:22pm CST
Hello There, I can't help but to say those were the days when we didn't have so much hate & division between people like it is today, why is that? what has changed? at what stage in our life time did things go south? If you remember this time in your life what age were you at this time? where were you at this time in your life in school in collage at work? I was living on the road with no where to call home no family or home.

It was a simpler life, but I think hatred has always been with us.

@just4him if people would THINK about the old days how we use to help 1 another & be the loving people we use to have as neighbors & friends & stop all this craziness it wouldn't be this way.

@ihasaquestion I know, it's like they keep bringing it up to divide the nation & keep us divided at ANY cost.

I remember in grade school in the 1960s I went to a school that did not have too many problems with races and I was lucky my schooling managed to finish on a quiet note.

You did not hear about it, but it was there. There is someone posting old newspaper clippings from the history of our town. One article speaks very plainly about one person of a particular race attempting a crime. It then meant that all the people of that race were suspected. I guess at the time you are talking about, the homes on the "other side of the track" here were known as Mexican Town. I have lived in this very small town less than four years. In its heyday it had seven bars and two liquor stores and its share of wild parties. We hear so much about hate, and division now because we can communicate more and faster. We have so many news programs and the internet to keep us "informed" or misinformed. The media in general stirs up things a lot, because it makes people use their services. "If it bleeds, it reads". I know we were more innocent 50, or sixty years ago.

@GardenGerty I agree back in the days of our times things were a lot more peaceful (so it seemed) not as raciest as it is today. I think when M J sang this song & done it like it was it was telling people how we should change that way thing are heading & NOW@ look where we are today?

The powers that be that run this world want all of us human beings to be divided since it keeps their desire to make a lot of money by having race wars.

@Deepizzaguy I have to agree with you on that, that's why they want open boarders where they can over flood the american people to house the illegals like their doing.
