Is it sunny and cool down there? Actually, our weather depends on how far you are from the Coast.

@JudyEv What is your favorite scenario? When I travel, I tend to bring my guitar, and to stay in motel rooms along the way.

@TheHorse This time I am. It was different when we were living in the motor-home but staying in airBnBs or with other people wasn't quite the same.

@TheHorse I think they look very smart. Son looks much less scruffy than usual! Other half also had his beard neatened up. He said the barber was really good, which is good to know as it's only round the corner from us.

I'm almost ready to head out. How do the haircuts look?

That sounds good to me. I do my share of puttering around the house.

@TheHorse I went up on the mezzanine in the garage and re-arranged what we have up there and made a list. At least I know what we have.

I just peeked outside. Still sunny here. It feels warm but not hot, so I may take my book to the pool.

@jm1978 It's going to be another hot one here as well. I think I'll go cycling early and hit the pool later.

@TheHorse The meadow will bounce back. After Hurricane Matthew came through, followed by a bad rainy season, the meadow stayed flooded for almost a year and a half. And it was a good 1-2 feet deep from all the rain. I never saw any fish in it, but a baby alligator took up residence. I relocated him just so he wouldn't become a nuisance. But yeah, after all that water finally went away, the meadow sprung back to life and was full of animals and insects and reptiles. I am an hour from the west coast beaches, and an hour and a half from the east coast beaches.

Will the meadow survive? How far are you from the closest beach?
