I put up a second hummingbird feeder. These little birds are so territorial, they like the feeder all to themselves. This morning I saw a bird on the feeder. He was not a hummingbird.
This is a Downy woodpecker. The smallest woodpecker in North America. Visiting my hummingbird feeder. I was lucky to get his photo before he flew away. They come through every now and then. I was happy to get a photo this time around.

Wow i havent seen that kind of bird in person. I dont know if we have it here in our country. I am not familiar of what types and how other breed of birds are called.

Beautiful photo of him. I'm glad you were able to get the photo.
I've had a good week. A little upset on Thursday, but all's well that ends well. I was just clumsy.

He is a very pretty little bird. How lucky were you to capture him on film? Well done.

What a beautiful little bird
Yes, you were really lucky to photograph it because I know how fast they fly away
