We Got a New (used) Shed Yesterday

About a week ago, I helped get the lock off of the shed for our new neighbor (the previous homeowners left the shed locked but didn't leave the key). When she saw it was empty, she said we could have it if we wanted because she really had no use for it. We ended up moving the shed yesterday, which turned out to be much more of a process than we were expecting. It was too heavy to move in one piece so we had to take it apart first. Then, of course, when we put it back together, the pieces didn't quite fit the same way they did when we disassembled it. Ultimately though, we did get the shed re-built in our yard. It's a little crooked and has a couple gaps I'll have to seal. But, it's sturdy and will be a good place to keep the kids' bikes and yard toys so our other shed can be used for just tools. The only thing left to do is put the doors on it and maybe secure the roof a little better (it's OK for now, but I'm concerned it won't hold up under a heavy snow). But, that's something we can do when we have more time.

Sweat equity so they say. I hope you get good use from your shed. We are upgrading our big shed in back.
