Wall Painting: 'The Igorot'

I love the UP Wall Art along Katipunan. I couldn't understand the abstract and the Fine Arts students seem to have symbolisms exclusively their own but I settle for the vivid interplay of colors. The huge murals at Bonifacio Global City are breathtaking. I can only glimpse at the paintings and I see the deepest longings of artists in their works. Your Igorot is one fine art. Brings to mind a sad story for I see a bemuscled being, perhaps a warrior, on a bent knee, head stooped, arms down in resignation. Hu hu. But the sinews and the stance are regal, the colors tender. Your Igorot speaks of heartache and longing and love. Glad you have preserved this mural in the net. Good move. Kudos.

Wall art is nice but I do not paint

Yes, I do. Every time I pass through my Alma Mater Shchool in which someone famous painted the wall of the school. I will try to take photos once I will pass again.

I love wall paintings. I'm good when it comes to drawing but I can't paint.

We don't have photos on our walls. But two sides of the wall painted with flowers on it. It is good to see the painted walls.

That is a nice wall art. I like wall art especially if they are about nature. I love paintings too but I don't have to buy as my hubby has a lot of paintings which he painted. Not enough walls to hang them in our home.

Yes those wall murals are really becoming popular around. When I pass to some government offices they would usually have it painted with some murals like that which depicts the function of their office. It is much better to look at when they are done like that. The usualy boring painted walls becomes a canvass of some sort which becomes pleasing to the eyes than those painted with one color or at times no paint at all.

I love to draw and color. But i havent tried painting. Drawing and coloring is really relaxing for me. And fulfilling as well.
