This usually happens to me and my previous friends before (those times that I still have friends), They always make mistake and I'm here to forgive them (always) but I'll never forget everything that they've done to me, that's why I have trust issue nowadays! How about you? Do you love to forgive someone, but you never forget what they've done to you? Why do you forgive in the first place?

Sometimes it is a forgive but not forget situation, sometimes I don't forgive, depends on what happened I guess. Sometimes I just move on and don't bother to do either.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yeah they're not good, and I don't want it to happen again.

I do try to forgive. I have been hurt many times myself so I do understand what you are going through. I am most likely not to trust someone I do not know, rather than not trusting a friend, though.

@tech40 People should think before, but sometime people hurt without realizing it too.

@whiteream I agree with that, because there are times that it happened to me too, that I hurt someone without realizing, I just know it after I've done it

@tech40 its the easiest for me. to let go and move forward.. eventhough i will forget and forgive what happened, i will never forget the lesson that i learned from it...

We forgive to have peace of mind. It's not good to harbor grudges. Better let it go.

@Nakitakona I agree with you! It's so hard to forget something happened to you especially if you nearly get die because of them

@tech40 I remember what the Bible says about it. Forgive and forget. It seems difficult but it's possible.

It's a natural reaction of us to never forget. I think that is logical since if you forget them they may just tend to do it again to you but if you let them aware that you are always looking out for a fallout then the offender might be careful in dealing with you always.
