Another storm!

I was doing some errands and it was really hot outside, but a storm came out of nowhere! I managed to get back home just in time, got a little wet, but I was close to my home. One more minute and I could've got a free shower . That was one hour ago. I decided to open all the windows in order to get some cool air but after a while I had to close them back, the wind was way too strong. Got a picture, but I don't know if you can see the water on the street, it was more like a river. And now I must go and take my son from kindergarten, fortunately, the rain slowed down a little. Well, I'm going, see you all later!

Yes, I can see the water on the road. I'm glad you didn't get too wet.

No, I made it just in time, but barely . At first I thought it's gonna end quickly, but after a while it got pretty bad. You know, we always had some moderate storms, but lately they got way worse and their numbers also increased .

The rain stopped now, we even decided to go for a walk because temperatures went down from 95 F to 75 F .

The problem is, we were used to have a month of rain and storms, but this year the storm season started in march. 4 months of storms, that's a little too much .

A friend was struck by lightning, but he was really lucky, not a scratch on him. He lost his vision for several minutes, but that was all. He actually wanted to experience that again, I told him he is nuts .
