Snatched Times With my HS Batchmates

Yesterday, i filed.for an undertime from the office , at noon time until 2:00 pm and attended a lunch invitation.
It was by one of our high school batchmates who came home from the USA for his father's first year death anniversary.
Then, I again filed for another undertime at 5:00 pm until dismissal time to be at the wake of our dead batchmate.
He died of ALS after 3 months of being diagnosed by it.
After the wake, our group proceeded to a hotel and had some juice and cakes as part to still have some catching up.
Food will always be a part of our catching up.
The pictures are from those two occasions yesterday.
Part of our catching up is the planning of a big reunion next year, to celebrate our all getting to be 60 year old already.
We all agreed that getting 60 need to be celebrated big since more than 6 from our batch are already gone forever on earth.
Well, whatever.
I am just so happy whenever our batch meets up.

Looks like your batch is very active still and very close knitted group that every time there is soem kind of gathering your group organizes immediately. Food is indeed what makes our get together fun and enjoying. We forget time while doing that.

@MGjhaud somebody in your batch should initiate to be the coordinator. then she should patiently search online for all of them then make a group chat. through other batchmates already contacted they can find other batchmates who isn't in social media.
That's how it is with our batch.
it was worth her patience. Now, she relinquished beingthe president of the batch to another doctor batchmate who is still single.

@ridingbet In that case, you really need to retire already. Health is wealth.

@SIMPLYD sometimes, i pant and get so exhausted because of the hot climate. i palpitate. i want to retire, but the college of nursing has not yet found an instructor trained in medical ward and MICU to replace me. it seems medical ward is one ward that no teacher wants to be in.
we are only 2 CI's but the other one has workload in OPD and ER, so that leaves me alone.

Thank you. We all do have a grand time whenever we meet up.
Sometimes , i also go with them in watching a movie.
Though, it's seldom because usually it's Saturday afternoon they watch. I can't because I am atnour hometown to be with my bedridden mother. It's the only time I can be with her.

Actually, one should intiate to find at least 10 or a bit more of your batchmates based in your place or in the most common place. Only then, can a reunion be finalized.
After the first reunion, a lot more will follow if specially the pictures of the gathering will be posted in social media, because for those batchmates who were found, will definitely contact anyone who is in the initial group that had the reunion,

I am happy I decided to join my batchmates last 2012. Before, i don't like joining them, thinking thatbtheybare arrogants. I was mistaken.
I regretted not joining them when they firat join the alma mater's yearly homecoming. I saw in their old pictures of their gatherings that they were so happy. Though, i need not be sad about that .
