It's morning here. I've been up since 4 AM. Yes, I slept in and it felt good. I woke hungry because I refused to eat anything more before going to bed last night. I also noticed something as I was sitting here this morning - my belly doesn't seem to be as big as it was a week ago. You know that little bit of flab that overflows the top of your jeans, it's half what it was, so I think all this half as much and exercise is starting to pay off. Hopefully, it also means I'll fit into that new suit soon.
These are my numbers for yesterday.
Calories: 1029
Sugar: 35.89
Carbs: 135.87
Protein: 24.4
Sodium: 731
Fat: 37.14
Calories burned: 665
Total calories: 364
I did very well yesterday between my food and exercise.
Today will be more sedentary than usual. Normally a laundry day, my knees are not good this morning, so I sent a message to my son letting him know I wouldn't be there this morning. Those stairs would be more than I could handle right now. I will try to get in some exercise as I'm able. It will most likely be the 5-pound barbells.
I'm also super thirsty this morning. I'm already on my third bottle of water.
My plans, now that the notifications are finished is to get work done on a book. I might even start a new one. I had a story going through my head when I woke, so I want to see where that one is going. It's a romance type, so probably another difficult one to write. We'll see. Maybe I can change that type into something easier for me to write.

With your bad knees, you can also do sitting exercises.

You are such an early bird and inspiration. I got out of bed at 7:30 and was dragging. I'm doing a little MyLot while drinking coffee, but I need to start getting breakfast on and get dressed for the day. You are doing great with your slim down. I lost 6 pounds last month. I was happy seeing that when I weighed in at the doctor's office the other day. I have to go back at the end of the month since my blood pressure was up so I will be putting a bigger effort into eating better this month.

Thank you. Yes, 4 AM is later than 2:30 or 3. I've already had breakfast. I'm trying not to eat anything more. Breakfast is usually my largest meal of the day.

Thanks, I hope so too. I'd like to get the laundry done by tomorrow if possible. It's difficult to swim and do the fitness center and do laundry with those stairs on the same day and end up losing a day at the Y as a result, so if I can do it tomorrow, that will be good.

I was happy when the holiday ended, everything in town was so dog-gone busy! I went to Wal Mart, it was a mistake. Getting in and out of there, took some real effort! I'm so glad you are already seeing positive results, from all the hard work you've been doing. It will definitely pay off!
