It's so true, I am not wealthy, I don't live in a mansion, and my car is years old. However, I have everything I need. I have the love of my family, a rood over my head, I can pay the bills, and my husband is one-of-a-kind. I have love. I have loyal friends who care for me. The kind that you can count on. The kinds of friends that know you faults and all and still they care about you. I have a mind that is still sharp, most of the time. The ability to think, write, dream, love, and plan. Everything that is meaningful to me is in my life. The memories of yester years good and bad. Yes, I have everything I need.

It is a very wise person who is content with what they have. So many have much to be thankful for but still hanker for more or different or whatever.

I used to think money was the most important thing. Somewhere along the line I learned that it wasn't.

There’s a song that Linda Ronstadt did that has a line in it that I quote frequently: “What you need, what you want, are not the same thing.” I think a lot of people would find their lives are much happier if they discovered that. Much richer (in terms of true riches), too. No, you’re wealthy beyond measure!!! So am I.

That is absolutely true. Unfortunately not everyone learns that. They spend their life searching for more.

It is already a blessing that we are okay and we have food and money to survive for a living and we have people around that care for us and have a beautiful world to live.

True, but there are more people in the world that want more. The feel they need the material things.

Congratulations, you are by far more wealthy than most of the population. Happiness with who and where we are, with what we have is the greatest currency in the world.

I love this! Some people think that they need to have all the materialistic things in life to be happy. So wrong. Its the little things that matter. Love, happiness, family
